The eccElearning Faculty is made up of over 140 expert spine surgeons and educators. Lecture: Specific Technical Aspects in Multisegmental Resection and Reconstruction for Tumours of the Spine
This lecture describes specific technical aspects in multisegmental resection and reconstruction for spinal tumours are discussed. Surgically challenging procedure – Tumorboard / Spine (Tumor) Centre allows attainment of marginal / wide resection margins. In combination with multimodal adjuvant therapies effectively reduces local recurrences. Problem of systemic control in patients with solitary metastases.
