Lecture: Degenerative Scoliosis and Stenosis
This lecture is about management of degenerative scoliosis and stenosis. The lecture begins with an overview of the pathophysiology in the development of this disorder and how degenerative scoliosis relates to de novo scoliosis. The pathology is examined closely and what is happening at the apical segments is explained. The cascade of events are explained in detail, and the treatment strategy is presented. Finally the indications of treatment protocols and their outcomes are discussed.
